Coming back can be harder than people realise.
You may be worrying about the gate, questions from other people, work you have missed, friendships or simply not knowing what your first day back will look like.

If returning does not feel safe
If the reason you are worried about coming back involves bullying, threats, abuse, harm or another safety concern, tell a trusted adult and ask for the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). A return plan should not ignore a safety concern.
